missingWrote a review on Feb 23noisy partylacked aircon
i had the absolute worst experience at the Newlands. it was 37 deg C and no aircon, just a hot box. their idea of serving guests was letting a loud party go on until 10pm. furthermore, no one even offered me a complimentary drink after such horrid conditions. i almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

We stayed in the Family Suite and loved how spacious it was! The kids enjoyed watching satellite programming after our fun-filled days at the nearby Newlands Cricket Ground. Breakfast was a hit. Sarah's omelettes were particularly delightful, and it was nice to mingle with other guests.
My kids wished for more play equipment outside.

The family suite was cozy and provided ample room for our group's belongings, making it easy to settle in after our adventures.
Unfortunately, the unit lacked adequate storage for luggage, as our upstairs room had no suitable place to set a suitcase besides the floor.

It was just a fine choice for a city holiday in Cape Town with high value for money. Enjoyed quiet nights with good space in the room, making it easy to unwind after exploring. If it's warm, a fan would help cool things down a bit.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The family suite was cozy, and the breakfast was spot on. We explored the nearby Newlands Stadium and Newlands Cricket Ground. Sarah and John were super helpful with local tips. WiFi worked well, and the place felt secure. Definitely coming back if we're in the area again!
We found the door locks a bit outdated, but it didn't affect our stay much since the owners were around ensuring safety.

The Deluxe Double Room with Shower was comfy enough, making it a decent spot to crash after a long day of exploring. The ample space helped, and I appreciated having a nice, private bathroom—I could freshen up without any hassle.
I encountered a few hiccups. The breakfast spread was a letdown—cold toast from earlier in the morning doesn't cut it, especially when the local electricity situation knocks out any chance for something warm. during loadshedding, the small lamps were hardly sufficient. it felt more like camping than a proper stay. Lastly, the bed linen could definitely use an upgrade—comfort levels need to be higher for a better night's sleep.
